My Goals 2016

March

We had an amazing March. Lots of learning and exciting activities.
We even re-wrote our Goals as many students had already achieved
them in one month.
We continued with Getting Started ( Fitness /coordination programme),
Kiwi Can (social skills & games), Patu(Maori fitness & sports programme)
Grandparent’s reading(Rotary),Kapa Haka(Junior & Senior)
and even found time to have a Dress up day as Heroes or Heroines.
The students in Room 1 are loving learning and making great progress.
We are Miharo.We rock. We show Aroha, Kaha and Mana.

I like this school.
I am in Room 1. I Came from Frimley School..
I am getting better at Maths.I can count and use counters to help me add up.
I do Reading and Writing with Mrs Bennett too.
I like Kapa Haka.It is lots of fun.

Oceannah has just started at Riverslea.She came from Frimley school and will be 6 in May.
She is at Level 4 for Reading, 1B for Writing and Stage 1-2 for Maths,
I will give her lots of encouragement and praise to build up her self confidence.
I am sure that once she settles down into the school, she will begin to progress well in all areas.
I will ensure this by giving her lots of 1 to 1 to assist her to move through the levels in Reading, Writing and Maths.
